perhaps someday, somewhere, i will have the honour of being your breakfast buffet guide. its not only a joy to sniff, see, taste, get insights into the local/international foods, but also to watch the different nationalities eating breakfast. that is so wonderful! (and often surprising).

Marlena, I can never forget the breakfast buffet in that international hotel we stayed at in Istanbul many years ago--they offered, if memory serves me, Turkish breakfast (a winner), Japanese breakfast, American breakfast, and full English. Spectacular! What was the hotel? Surely not a Hilton?

Hotel Conrad! Maybe part of Hilton group? That was an amazing breakfast buffet. The gaziantep lentil soup lives in my happy food memory. My only regret is that there wasn't time to taste everything! X m
